Artists throughout Ireland have donated pieces for a charity Art Auction in aid of the RNLI.
This event has been inspired by the tragic loss of Cian Nugent, aged 21, who lost his life while swimming with friends last April off the West Waterford Coastline.
It is a tribute to the RNLI for their efforts that day which brought him home.
Works include Irish Expressionist Mick Mulcahy, Marie-Louise Martin contemporary print maker, Brid Kenneally and Blawnin Clancy both seascape and landscape artists, Brigid Shelly known as ‘ the cow painter’, Rayleen Clancy visual and glass artist. Seamus O Brien, Brenda Harris and many more.
A presale of 30 artworks will happen from the 8th till the 15th of March at 7pm. These will all be sold on line. On Monday the 18th closing on the 21st of March the remaining 20 pieces will be auctioned. This will happen at Joan Clancy gallery but also will be live on line simultaneously so you can bid from anywhere in the world .
