Duck Race 2022

This family fun event scheduled for Saturday, 11th June will see 600+ rubber ducks enter the water at 2pm in Dungarvan in aid of RNLI Helvick Lifeboat Station.

Following last year’s Duck Race event (which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns), this year’s event will take place in Dungarvan town centre on the same weekend as the popular West Waterford Festival of Food.

There will be prizes for the winning ducks. Each duck costs €3 – or two for €5, and they can be bought online (rnlihelvickswim.ie), at local An Rinn & Dungarvan businesses, and from a stall near Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan Town Center at the festival.

1st prize – €100 Dungarvan Chamber Voucher & RNLI gift box
2nd prize – €60 Dungarvan Chamber Voucher & RNLI gift box
3rd prize – €40 Dungarvan Chamber Voucher & RNLI gift bag

All proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting critical operations at the RNLI.
