RNLI Helvick & Dungarvan Fundraising Committee will be holding its AGM on February 23rd at the Dungarvan Harbour Sailing Club at 8 pm. The community is invited to attend and hear about the station’s progress over the past year. If you are considering volunteering with the RNLI, the AGM will be an excellent opportunity to make contact.
Once again 2023 was a successful year for fundraising and the RNLI Helvick lifeboat station owes a debt of gratitude to the community for their ongoing support of local lifesaving operations.
Planning is underway for popular 2024 events such as the RNLI International Duck Race, and a date of June 30th has been set for the 29th Annual RNLI Helvick Swim. Online registration of interest for this long-standing and popular outdoor fundraiser event will open in the coming weeks.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea.
