RNLI Station Mass, Memorial Service & Wreath Laying Ceremony

The public are very welcome to attend a station mass, memorial service and wreath laying ceremony at the RNLI Helvick lifeboat station. The combined ecumenical service will take place at 7:30pm on Thursday, May 11th.

A wreath will be laid on the day, and a memorial service provided by station chaplain Father Conor Kelly and Dean Paul Draper for relatives and friends of those who lost their lives off the Waterford coast and in similar tragedies.

“The ceremony is to remember the lifeboat crew, fishermen, and other individuals who lost their lives at sea, and to recognise the important work the RNLI does in the area.” said Kevin O’Morchoe, Hon. Chairman of the RNLI Helvick Fundraising Committee.
