RNLI Helvick Head Prepares For Spring & Summer Events

RNLI Helvick Head Lifeboat Station is excited to announce a full calendar of events for the coming year, all aimed at raising vital funds for the station and its lifesaving work.

Starting with the AGM on February 24th, the community is invited to attend and hear about the station’s progress over the past year.

St Patrick’s Day parade on March 17th will see the lifeboat station take part in the celebrations, while the popular Duck Race returns on April 15th, with thousands of rubber ducks racing down the river.

May will be a busy month, with an Aldi Collection and Station Mass taking place, followed by the Helvick Swim on July 30th and a Flag Day collection in September.

The station would like to thank the local community for their ongoing support and encourages everyone to get involved in these exciting events. All funds raised will go directly towards lifesaving equipment and training for the volunteer crew.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea.
