This year’s RNLI Helvick Sponsored Swim is scheduled for Sunday 12th July, or – if the weather doesn’t cooperate – the previous day, Saturday 11th July.
Our reserve weekend is 25/26th July 2026 (with the same weather contingency applying).
This scheduling adjustment provides greater flexibility and helps avoid a repeat of 2025, when poor weather prevented us from holding the 30th swim despite five attempted dates.
Applications will open in March. It is important that all applicants are available for both days of the weekend.
