A Year of Lifesaving: Helvick RNLI Thanks Community for 2024 Support

Helvick RNLI lifeboat station extends its heartfelt gratitude to the local community for their incredible support throughout 2024. The generosity of donors, the enthusiasm of event participants, and the dedication of volunteers have been instrumental in ensuring the station continues its vital work of saving lives at sea.

As we move into 2025, the station’s fundraising committee is calling on the community to help further its mission. Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising events, and everyone is welcome, whether they can commit a little time or a lot. Getting involved is a meaningful way to make a difference and support the life-saving work of the RNLI.

To provide more information and welcome new faces, the committee will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on February 21st at 8 p.m. at the lifeboat station in Helvick. This is an opportunity for interested individuals to learn about the station’s activities, meet the team, and explore ways to contribute to its vital mission.

The Helvick RNLI lifeboat station has long been a cornerstone of the community, ready to respond whenever lives are in danger at sea. The continued support of the local community is crucial to maintaining this legacy of service.
