The RNLI Helvick Head Fundraising Committee has postponed their upcoming event, the 28th Annual RNLI Helvick Sponsored Swim.
The new date for this highly-anticipated gathering is now set for August 27th. This announcement has not been made lightly, as the committee recognizes the significance of the swim to the community and the crucial funds it generates for the RNLI.
“Based on a rather dire weather forecast for Sunday, we have decided that unfortunately we must postpone the event. The postponement decision was taken with careful consideration, as the safety and well-being of participants, volunteers, supporters, and the wider public remain of utmost importance.” said Kevin O’Morchoe, hon Chairman of the RNLI Helvick Head Fundraising Committee.
