The main annual fundraising effort for the Dungarvan Bay and Helvick Head Lifeboat Station makes a welcome return this year, on Saturday 18th September at 15.00.
KAYAKERS WANTED
Kayakers always play a large part in our plans for the Swim on the day. If you are a kayaker and you are available to do kayak support for the swim on the day, please register your interest on our volunteering page.
SWIMMERS
Swimmer registration is already underway and is only available through our website. Registration will close 24hrs before the swim – if you are not registered, we will not be in a position to allow you take part in the swim.
PUBLIC
Unfortunately, due to COVID, this years swim is a swimmer only event and there will be NO entertainment on the pier in Helvick.
Since we were unable to hold our annual swim in 2020, this year’s is all the more important from a fundraising point of the view. The boat has been very busy this year with a large number of call outs over the summer months. If you would like to donate, visit our JustGiving fundraising page.
